I have had the pleasure of working with Virginia West in her role as an instructional coach for several months and have learned so much from her!  During our one-on-one coaching cycle, she helped me set a clear and focused goal with action steps.  She watched me teach and provided meaningful feedback.  However, rather than simply sharing her own perspective, Virginia asks purposeful questions that lead to self-reflection.  When working with Vriginia, I often feel pushed outside my comfort zone — in a good way!  She has helped me dig deeper when analyzing student data, and hold myself and students accountable for reaching the rigor of grade level standards.
